XTAR VC8S 8-Slot Charger | 3A USB-C Fast Charge, LCD Display

Key Features

Eight slots cover 3.6V/3.7V Li-ion cells across the common cylindrical range, from a small 10440 up to a large 26650, and 1.2V NiMH cells from AAA up to C size, all over a single USB-C input rated for 3A fast charging, which between them account for most of the rechargeable batteries found across flashlights, wireless microphones, drone packs and vape mods.

Beyond straightforward charging, the VC8S runs a genuine capacity test on demand, so the actual mAh a battery delivers becomes known rather than trusting the figure printed on the wrapper, which matters more than it might sound given how often budget or counterfeit cells overstate their real capacity. A storage voltage check helps extend a cell's usable life between periods of use.

Diagnostic features

• Genuine capacity test against rated mAh
• Storage voltage check to extend usable battery life
• Internal resistance measurement flags cells wearing out early
• 0V activation for over-discharged cells

Multiple protection circuits guard against overcharging and short circuits as standard. This makes sense for anyone running several devices off rechargeable batteries at once and wanting to know which specific cells in rotation are still reliable, wireless microphone kits with several battery packs cycling through use, drone batteries needing regular capacity checks before a flight.
