A Luminus SST40 LED and OP reflector push this to 2300 lumens, 19,600 candela and a 280 metre beam, numbers that check out against each other by the standard beam-distance formula, which isn't always the case with budget lights making inflated claims. Takes either an 18650 or a larger 21700 for more runtime when needed, charges over USB-C directly, no separate charger required.

Type III hard-anodized aluminium body, 88g without the battery, mode memory between uses so it doesn't reset to a default brightness every time it's switched on.
