A 2000mAh Li-ion battery built in gives 3.5 hours of runtime on strong light or up to 12 hours on weak, recharged through a built-in smart charging chip with overcharge and short-circuit protection.

An AAA battery holder is also included as a fallback, useful if you're somewhere without power to recharge and need to keep the light running on disposable batteries instead. CREE LED rated for over 100,000 hours, adjustable zoom head for switching between spotlight and floodlight.
