Klarus XT21X PRO Flashlight, 4400 Lumens, 336m Beam, USB-C

4400 lumens out of a Cree XHP70.2 LED and a 336 metre beam put the XT21X PRO closer to a handheld searchlight than a typical tactical torch, and it backs that output with real runtime, not just a bright short burst that fades within minutes: 200 hours on Moonlight's 5 lumens setting, down to 2.5 hours on Turbo when the full output is actually needed. A 5000mAh 21700 battery drives it, with an 18650 adapter included in the box if that's the cell size already on hand instead.

A USB-C port works in both directions: the same battery that powers the torch can charge a phone during a blackout or while out in the field, turning the flashlight into genuine emergency power backup rather than a single-purpose light. The XT21X does not have this power bank function.

What sets the Pro apart

• USB-C port charges the torch, or charges a phone from it
• Red/yellow/green charge indicator on the side switch
• Three separate switches, each with a dedicated function
• 5000mAh 21700 battery included, plus an 18650 adapter

IPX8 waterproof rating means full submersion resistance rather than just splash protection, 1 metre impact resistance covers accidental drops onto hard ground, and the aluminium body weighs 171.5g without packaging, substantial enough to feel solidly built without being genuinely heavy to carry through a full shift.

Klarus ships every unit tested rather than assuming it works, with a genuine Klarus-branded 21700 cell included and backed by a 5 year seller warranty. Security teams, search and rescue volunteers, and anyone who wants one light that can also keep a phone alive during an extended outage are the genuine target buyer here. A spare 21700 cell charged separately on a unit like the XTAR MC1 Plus means a long shift never has to end early just because the light's own battery did.
