PEETPEN L9 mini flashlight

The 10440 cell here is sealed inside the light rather than a swap-in part, so there's no separate battery to buy, lose, or get the polarity wrong on. Charge it over Micro-USB and an LED tells you the status, the light itself flashes a low-power warning before it dies rather than cutting out without notice.

500 lumens and a 120m beam from an OSRAM P8 LED, aircraft-grade aluminium alloy body rated 1-metre impact resistant, IPX4 for light rain or splashes.
