Controlled from the Smart Life app on Android or iOS, or by voice with Alexa and Google Home for devices matched to a known brand profile.
Effective range up to 16 metres, enough to reach across most living rooms and bedrooms without needing a direct line of sight the way an original remote often does.
That's one real limit worth stating plainly before buying: a device added through the DIY learning function for a brand not already in the database works fine from the app, but won't respond to a voice command the way a listed-brand device will. Worth checking whether a specific AC or TV brand is already supported before assuming full voice control out of the box.
