XTAR 18650 Battery, 3500mAh, Built-in USB-C, 10A Discharge

The odd one out in this range: the charging circuit is built into the cell itself, so it charges directly from a phone charger, power bank or laptop over USB-C, no separate single or multi-bay charger required at all. A built-in level indicator on the cell shows charge status without needing to check a separate charger display.

3500mAh capacity with a 10A discharge rating covers high-drain LED flashlights, the kind of output brands like Klarus, Olight, Imalent, Sofirn and Ledlenser use on Turbo modes, plus other 18650-compatible devices drawing similarly heavy current.

Specifications

• 3500mAh capacity, 10A discharge
• Built-in USB-C charging port
• On-cell charge level indicator

Worth it specifically for anyone who wants to skip carrying a charger, at the cost of a bit of internal volume versus a raw cell, since USB-C charging hardware takes up some of the space that would otherwise go to more capacity. The XTAR 18650 RAW and Klarus 18GT-40 use a separate charger instead of built-in USB-C.
